Sweet & Spicy Almonds

The perfect solution to that mid afternoon snack attack!


  • 2 cups raw almonds
  • 20g butter
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1-2 tbsp coconut sugar OR honey
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • Chilli flakes (optional)


  1. Melt butter in large frypan over medium heat. Add olive oil then add almonds.
  2. Toss almonds to coat then add seasoning ingredients, stirring regularly to coat and allow to roast without burning.
  3. Once covered and lightly browned removed from heat and pour onto baking paper lined tray.
  4. Allow to cool.
  5. Enjoy by the handful!

Each ingredient has been thoughtfully chosen and serves a primary purpose in producing the highest quality of frozen dessert possible. In addition all ingredients marked with an asterisk are certified organic!

Don’t understand what some of our ingredients are? Let us explain! 

Glucose – the body naturally produces glucose, which means it is metabolised easily by our bodies and can be utilised by every cell! Glucose is also great at reducing the freezing point, meaning that ice cream is soft opposed to hard!! 

Coconut sugar *– is produced from coconut palm blossoms. It is minimally processed, naturally low on the Glycemic Index, and is regarded as the most nutritious of all the sugars!

Tapioca starch* – is a gluten-free thickener that is extracted from the dried roots of the cassava plant.

Guar gum *– is a high fibre product used to bind, thicken and emulsify the other gluten-free ingredients.

Xanthan gum – is fermented by plant-loving bacteria and is used as a natural emulsifier that ensures smoothness.

Cacao* – is choc-full of antioxidants, which helps protect our hearts, prevents cellular damage, and keeps us looking and feeling younger!

Cashew butter* – is made up of raw cashew nuts and is high in protein, unsaturated fats and B vitamins that help to boost the metabolism and promote cellular health.

Coconut cream* – is a plant-based ingredient containing easy-to-digest healthy fats that are low in cholesterol.

Macadamia butter* – is a natural nut spread that is gluten-free, high in protein and fibre and low in carbohydrates.

Apple Cider Vinegar*– is an alkaline, antibacterial health elixr that can boost your immunity, aid digestion, and help with weight-loss.
